Luca Pistone, born in Milan 1983, works as a freelance journalist, photoreporter and documentarist. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Theory at the University of Pavia and a Master’s Degree in International Relationships at the University of Roma La Sapienza.
During his studying years he also obtained a Masters in Photography at the Centro Sperimentale di Fotografia Adams in Rome and completed a Professional Course of African Studies at the Italian Istitute for Africa and The East. Lately he obtained a Professional Master in Communication of Defense and Armed Conflicts at the Complutense University of Madrid and a Professional Master in Migration Management, Reception and Inclusion at Federico II University of Naples.
Since then, he has been cooperating with several international agencies, NGO’s, magazines, newspapers, TVs and broadcasters, running reportages in theatres of war and crisis.
